New year wishes are conventional, but our team is aiming at providing more than positive thoughts: practical tools. In 2018, we are planning on making Store Commander even more present in your daily e-merchant activity by introducing new functionalities and tools. Obtaining our PrestasShop modules currently requires a separate purchase from Store Commander module, followed by a file download and an individual installation within PrestaShop backoffice. This takes time… The first good news to start this new year is that our modules will be natively available within your Store Commander’s interface as addons.
In the next few weeks, each of our modules will be converted to be available for purchase, and they will be active in just a click! Easy :)
This will be a timesaver for you as well as for our maintenance tasks: we will introduce new addons to help you manage data from the most used PrestaShop modules.
Another example concerns the world of auto/moto/scooter parts with products requiring a few compatibility types such as brand, year, model, version, etc. This is also applicable to household goods having millions of references to manage that can easily turn into a headache! To avoid such long and tedious tasks, our partner UKOO Web Agency designed a PrestaShop module called UKOO Product Compatibility. With this module, visitors on your website can found their references in no time, and therefore place an order, which is what we want!
A tool to manage this type of products faster was missing. We have therefore developed a new Store Commander addon to manage millions of product compatibilities! Efficient.
This addon has already been installed and used on some shops and taking into account our customers feedback, it will be available for Store Commander users in the coming weeks.
Another major change to start this new year is our solution APIWAY.tools that changed its name to become APIRUNRUN.com. These solutions, available for various technologies such as WooCommerce, WordPress, Magento, Shopify and even YouTube, are designed to manage data in bulk. APIRUNRUN.com will soon introduce additional services to Store Commander.
Last but not least, some members of our team will be present at Paris Retail Week 2018, Porte de Versailles, September 10th to 12th. I know this is a little early to mention this, but as always you will be ever so welcome so please do come over and say hi :)
