Store Commander's interface is flexible enough to allow you to customize its display. You can:
Expand or hide panels
Change the width of the panels
Select the columns you want to display
Resize the columns
Sort the order of columns data
Change the language of Store Commander's interface
Configure users permissions
1. Expanding or hiding panels
Store Commander allows you to expand or hide any of the three panels.
2. Changing the width of the panels
Store Commander allows you to change the width of any of the three panels by simply sliding the edge of the panel.
3. Selecting the columns you want to display
In the Products panel, you can choose which columns to display in each view.
To do so, right-click in one of the columns to display the menu, and simply tick the box corresponding to the columns you want to display.
In the Properties panel, this is only available in the Combinations, Specific Prices and Accessories menus.
The setting is stored in local cookies and therefore your selection is retained in subsequent Store Commander sessions.
4. Re-arranging columns
In the Products panel, you can choose which order you want the columns to be displayed by simply moving them with a drag and drop action.
Once you have selected the column you wish to move, the mouse cursor will keep the name of the column you are moving.
An orange marker shows you where the column will be dropped.
In the Properties panel, this is only available in the Combinations menu.
The setting is stored in local cookies and therefore your setup is retained in subsequent Store Commander sessions.
If your display settings are not kept after browsing the application, please refer to this article to resolve the issue.
5. Resizing the columns
In the Products panel as well as in the Properties panel (all views and menus), you can change the size of the column by simply expanding or shrink the selected column. A horizontal double arrow will be displayed on the edge of the column
6. Sorting the order of columns data
Store Commander allows you to sort the order of the data in each column. To do so, click in the column header. An arrow will be displayed in the top-right corner. Click on it to sort the order alphabetically or numerically (depending on the nature of the data in the selected column) in a descending or ascending order.
7. Changing the language of Store Commander's interface
You can choose to display the interface in any languages (if available).
Please refer to knowledge base article.
8. Configuring users permissions
Store Commander's interface includes users permissions which allows you to 'hide' some parts of the interface that you might consider as unnecessary. Here is an introduction video on users permissions in Store Commander.
To customize the interface even more by creating new views, add/remove columns in various views and grids, and even add non-native Prestashop fields (present in the database) to Store Commander's interface, as well as the CSV import and export tools, think about our Grids Editor and its PRO version.
