PSE Terminator 2.0

This module boasts dual benefits:

• When putting stores into production or undertaking migrations to another version of Prestashop

Terminator does Mr Clean's job for you! You can erase the content of tables, images associated to deleted data as well as all teste and reverts to a clean database and thus avoid cascading bugs when the store goes live.

 

• Maintain and optimize your stores performances on a daily basis (display, server, etc...)

 
Terminator also allows you to improve the display performances of your webtore as well as user experience by deleting statistics that have become unnecessary, searchesn etc and free some space on your server!

Functionalities:

Database - Putting stores into production or migrating to a new version of Prestashop

• Deletes products stocks movements- New!
• Deletes inactive products - New!
• Deletes products for which the update date is < INPUT_DATE - New!
• Deletes le log (version 1.4) - New!

Database - Maintaining and improving store performances

• Deletes discount codes for which the maximum date is < INPUT_DATE -  New!
• Deletes all research stats (search_index, search_word, sekeyword, statssearch) -   New!
• Deletes all unused shopping carts > 30 days within the tab Orders -   New!
• Deletes connexion statistics < INPUT_DATE (page_views, connexion, guests) -   New! 
• Deletes all pages unfound

Modules

• Checks out whether you use the module for gifts’ lists and deletes all lists.
• Checks out whether you use the module for loyalty points and deletes all points.
• Checks out whether you use the module PSE Delivery date and deletes the carriers configuration
• Modifies the next order number: if you delete orders, you may need to reset the billing meter to zero (or any other value).

Set the next invoice number.

If you delete orders you may need to reset the invoice counter. You can start from 0 or 1 or from any other values.

Optimize tables

This option should be used if you have deleted a large part of a table. Deleted rows are maintained in a linked list and subsequent INSERT operations reuse old row positions. It will reclaim the unused space and to defragment the data file. See the MySQL manual for more information.

Files

• Deletes Prestashop theme cache
• Deletes all file in /tools/smarty/cache/*.* and /tools/smarty/compile/*.* (except index.php)
• Deletes all temporary images

Security

• This module does not overwrite the index.php files used to prevent visitors from reading PrestaShop folders.

Documentation

• Instructions to install the module are contained in the readme.html file which you will find in the zip file. Each blue tooltip you see on the screenshots opens up an information window with the various actions the module can perform.

Installation

• You can either choose to install the module yourself using the procedure explained in the readme.txt file which is provided to you or we can install it for you for a small fee. Full back up of your files is completed prior to installing the module.
