Known Issues and Solutions

Since the CSV format is not standardized, you may come across this message when importing:

 

Stats :
New products: 0
Modified products: 0
Ignored lines: 0

Some products still remain to be processed in the working file. It can be errors to correct or lines that were ignored on purpose. Once you have carried out potential corrections, please re-click on the Import icon to pursue the importation process.

 

 

Below are several points to check in your CSV file before importing:

 

  • Each line of your CSV file must contain information on a single product (product descriptions must be imported on a single line since line breaks are coded in HTML "<br/>"). This is NOT a correct format:

 

Table;99.00;"description
on several lines";ref001
Chairs;59.00;"description
on several lines";ref002

 

  • Data are sometimes into double quotes ": please check that these quotes "close" the fields correctly. For instance, this is NOT a correct format: 

 

"Table";99.00;"ref003;19.6

 

=> a double quote is missing after ref003
