Attributes and Attribute Groups

You can mange attributes and their groups in the dedicated window accessed via the Catalog > Attributes and Attribute Groups menu item.

 

The window displays the list of attribute groups in the left-hand panel with the attributes corresponding to the selected group in the right-hand panel.

 

The list items are shown in each of the e-store catalog’s languages for easier translation.

 

You may quickly add one or more attributes by entering the required number in the toolbar’s text box..

 

lightbulb Tip: By dragging an attribute and dropping it in another group, you can duplicate the attribute (and its texture). This is particularly useful if you want to use different groups of colors for different types of product (table colors, sofa colors, chair colors etc.)

 

lightbulb Tip: Use the Tab key to quickly move the cursor from one cell to the next.

Product Default Color Group

 

You can apply a color to a product specification sheet by selecting a color attribute group in the “Default Color Group” column in the Product panel “Reference” view.

 

Textures

 

When a color group is selected in the Groups panel, the “Image” column is displayed in the Attributes panel and two buttons are added to the toolbar:

 

 

picture_add Allows you to load an image to use as the texture for a color attribute.

 

picture_delete Deletes the textures for the selected attributes.
