Features

In PrestaShop, you can either use predefined features or set specific values for a product. Store Commander can handle both methods.

 

Toolbar Buttons

 

arrow_refresh Refreshes the features list.

 

filter When this filter is applied, only the features used by products in a same category are displayed. This avoids, for example, displaying the features for the “Shirts” category when working with the “Shoes” category.

 

Table

 

Feature column: feature name

 

Value column:  

 

  • -- : Feature not used for this product. If you switch from “Custom” to “—“, the custom features entered are automatically deleted.
  • Custom: Allows you to add specific values in the subsequent columns in each of your catalog’s languages.
  • xxx: Predefined feature value.

 

Custom_xx column: When the Value column is set to “Custom”, you may enter the specific feature values here.

 

Bulk Editing Features

 

When you select several products in the products table, the 3rd panel’s heading changes to “BULK EDIT”; any changes made in the features table will be applied to all the selected products.

 

lightbulb Note: If you want to change a custom feature, reset the feature by selecting “--” before entering the new custom feature in order to apply the custom feature to all the selected products.
