Toolbar Buttons

 

table_gear Selects the view. Store Commander displays different tables for different uses.

 

flag_blue Sets the catalog language, changing the names of categories in the tree, the names of products in the tables and their properties (this option is only displayed is your e-store uses more than one language)

 

filter Provides several tools for filtering the products table:

 

  • Reset filters: Removes the current filters and displays the entire list of products;
  • Show all columns: Shows all columns, including any previously hidden by right-clicking on column headings or using the option below;
  • Hide all columns: Hides all the secondary columns; the main ID, Product Name and Product Reference columns remain visible.

 

arrow_refresh Refreshes the products list. Please note that any filter applied must be removed to display the entire list of products.

 

cursor Fast navigation mode: Allows you to automatically select a row in the products table and edit a cell with one click. Please note that this tool is resource-hungry, since the product properties are loaded when the cursor hovers over each row in the table.

 

add Creates a new product row in the table at the end of the products list. The value of the link_rewrite parameter is set to "product". The name of the new product is set to "New" in all languages. The product is deactivated.

 

add_ps Opens a window displaying the PrestaShop Back Office’s “New Product” page.

 

page_copy Selects up to 5 products for duplication with a single click. Up to 5 windows then open to show the results of the operation carried out by PrestaShop Back Office. Duplication can return errors with certain versions of PrestaShop, which are due to bugs in PrestaShop, not Store Commander. One of these errors can be fixed by resetting the special offer period dates for all products (via the Catalog menu).

 

delete Permanently deletes the selected products (unlike moving them to the Trash category folder, which merely removes the products from one category without removing them from any other categories in which they may be present).

 

application_lightning Selects all products displayed in the table with a single click (if a filter has been applied, selects only the filtered products).

 

arrow_divide This switch changes the behavior for dragging and dropping products from one category to another:

 

 

  • If the switch is on (orange background), dropping adds the product to the target category (the product is not duplicated, it’s the same product);
  • If the switch is off (blue background), dropping moves the product to the target category.

 

 page_excel Quick export to Excel: Clicking on this button copies the table data to the clipboard in CSV (comma-separated values) format for pasting into an Excel worksheet. Once the content has been pasted, you will need to delete the second row containing the table filters. You may then export the result and use the CSV import tool to incorporate the changes into your e-store (you may take the Product_ID shown in the first column of your CSV file as the ID). This feature is only available with Firefox, which must be specially configured to avoid the "Access to clipboard denied" error.

 

layers Saves the order of products as they appear in the table. Clients will see the products displayed in the category in this order when the default order in PrestaShop is set to “Position inside category” (PrestaShop Preferences tab > Products > Default order by). For example, you can place special offers or important items at the top of the category’s product list.
