Customer Loyalty

Once your customers have made their first purchase on your online store, it is important to retain them, so that they can continue to buy your products.

In this article we are going to discover how to encourage customer loyalty on your online store with Store Commander.

1. Sorting by geographical areas for targeted campaigns

Sorting your customers by geographical areas is important to run emailing campaigns, especially if you have physical stores on top of your online stores.

In this instance, you can sort your customers by location to invite them to:

  • the opening of a new store
  • open house days
  • special evenings
  • ...

To order your customers according to their geographical location, simply open the Customers interface from the Customers menu and display the Addresses view in the central panel. You can then sort your customers by their cities, countries or postcode.

a. Orders amount

The amount of orders made can be found in the Convert view of the Customers interface, in the column called Total confirmed orders.

This information can be useful in two main cases:

  • Sending promotional codes to your customers according to the amount they ordered. This way allows you to encourage them to visit your store again by giving them attractive advantages.

  • The reward, for your best loyal customers. You thank them for being loyal by encouraging them to become even more loyal!

b. Last order date

The date of the last order Convert view of the Customers interface, in the column called Last order date.

This information can be useful in two main cases:

  • Sending promotional codes to customers who have not made any purchase recently. You encourage them to come back to your site with interesting privileges.

  • Sending a general satisfaction survey following a purchase on your store. Surveys allow you to get your customers feedback about your store. They are important if you changed supplier or delivery system for instance.
